Vibratory Plowing

Smaller cable and pipe digs may be ideal for our trenchless method of plowing

Learn More

A vibratory plow allows us to cut a slit in the ground as it lays a small-diameter utility cable or pipe. The oscillation of the blade makes the excavation faster and more efficient than a static blade. It is considered a trenchless method because the slit is so narrow and does not require a wide excavation as in traditional trenching.

The use of a vibratory plow is a good choice for workers laying small cables or pipes for utility companies. It is also an effective method for landscaping contractors. Vibratory plowing is a quick process. It is efficient and minimizes restoration because no trench is dug. The blade of the plow is attached to a shaker box and the resulting vibration. The resulting groove does not require backfilling and does little damage to the ground surface. The excavation can easily be restored by running a tractor tire over the slit.
